The new two-storey teaching building for Ryde Secondary College for the SINSW Asset Management Unit included 13 General Learning Spaces, Fitness Lab and Learning Common Areas. By adhering to the Modern Method of Construction (MMOC) philosophy, the design was based around panelised building components which HD were asked to install.

HD completed the construction of the entire structure by installing cross laminated timber floor cassettes, timber framed and fibre cement cladded wall panels, glue laminated columns and beams, and pitched composite roof cassettes. All elements were installed in a specific sequence which was finalised during the preconstruction stage.
