OVERVIEW

Hawkesbury Ave / Dee Why

DESCRIPTION

The existing residential development located in the leafy suburb of Dee Why consists of 33 apartments over 3 storeys and a basement level carpark. The roof level featured a mix of pitched metal sheet roofs and tiled roof top terraces.

In order to remediate the ongoing water ingress issues, HD Strata Remedial Builders were tasked with stripping all existing metal roof sheeting and demolishing all tiles, screed and waterproofing membranes from the roof top terraces. The pitched roofs then received new metal roof sheets, flashings, cappings, gutters, downpipes and anchor points. The roof top terraces were layered with new heavy-duty torch on waterproofing membrane, cement screed and tiles elevated on pods.

All works were completed in three different stages and HD Strata Remedial Builders ensured that owners were notified of each step along the way.
